Understanding Event Credits for Annual Event Subscriptions

Everything you need to know about Event Credits and how to activate your social wall.

An Event Credit allows you to activate your Annual Event Subscription social wall for a 30-day period. Each Annual Event Subscription includes a certain number of Event Credits based on the number of Events at the time of purchase that you can use whenever you need them.

How does it work?

  • Paused Wall: Your wall is viewable and embeddable, but does not collect new content.

  • Active Wall: Your wall collects new social content continuously for 30 days.

Activating Your Wall:

To activate your wall:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. In your Walls.io dashboard navigate to the wall you want to activate.

  3. Click on the "Activate Event" button.

  4. Confirm that you wish to spend one Event Credit.

Your wall will immediately switch to the Active state and begin collecting new posts.

Buying Additional Event Credits

If you use up all your included Event Credits, don't worry—you can always purchase more credits whenever you need them:

  1. Go to your Account Settings by clicking your profile picture on the top-right side of your screen.

  2. Navigate to "Your Subscription".

  3. Select "BUY NOW" on the Additional Event Credits Add-on box.

  4. Choose the number of credits you wish to buy and complete your purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reactivate a paused wall anytime?
Yes! Just spend one Event Credit, and your wall will instantly start collecting new content again for another 30 days.

Why can I add a source to a paused wall?
When you add a new source to your wall, there will initially be a collection of posts. This confirms that the source is working correctly and ensures your wall has some initial content. This happens whether your wall is currently active or paused. After this initial collection, if your wall is in a paused state, you'll need to activate it with an event credit, if you want to have it collecting new posts.

What happens after 30 days?
After 30 days, your wall automatically returns to the paused state, viewable, embeddable but not collecting new posts.

Can I buy credits anytime?
Absolutely! You can buy additional credits anytime during your subscription.
