What you need for your Echo campaign

To launch your first Echo campaign, you need to prepare these fundamental aspects:

  • Sharing text (in other words, the post caption)

  • A destination URL

  • UTM parameters (if desired)

In this Quick Start Guide tutorial, learn how to create, track, and evaluate your Echo campaign.

A. Social sharing card

The visual must be provided following these specifications:

  • Ideally square format (landscape works too in general, but on some platforms might lead to cropped visuals).

  • Minimum size: 1080x1080px

  • PNG format

  • Enough blank space to position name, position, and custom fields

  • Enough blank space to position the profile image

    • Your PNG CAN have a transparent cut-out for circular (or other shapes) profile pictures. You can do that with tools like Photoshop

💡Tip: You can use our AI image generator to create the sharing card visuals for you. Read more about Echo's AI tools here.

B. Sharing Text

  • Preferably <280 characters (for X/Twitter)

  • Should include all your primary hashtags!

💡Tip: You can use our AI alternative texts generator to create the sharing text for you. Read more about Echo's AI tools here.

C. Naming fields

These fields will auto-populate with the user's details if they are logged in to their social media account. By default, Echo provides fields for:

  • First name / last name

  • Position

You can also add up to 3 custom fields such as:

  • Position

  • Company

  • Exhibition booth number

  • Etc.

D. Sharing URL

This is the URL we'll attach to every shared post It's the URL you want Echo to drive traffic, such as your event registration page or your social media wall.

  • You can use custom UTM-paramters to track traffic through this link. You can add UTM values by going to Edit Campaign > Tracking & Embed > UTM Parameters.

Example Visuals

Here are a few examples of how the visuals can look like:
