The Embed CTA Button is a lightweight iframe that displays an attractive, branded button linking to your campaign. It includes your campaign's sharing image, custom text, and automatically styled hover effects

How to Configure

1. Go to DashboardCampaigns → [Your Campaign] → Edit

2. Open the Tracking & Embed tab

3. Scroll to the Embed Call-to-Action Button-section

You can customize these attributes:

  • Button label ("Be part of...")

  • Button background colour

  • Button text color

How to Embed

Once you have customized your CTA button, copy the Embed Code from the text field and paste it into your website where you want the button to appear.

Most CMS solutions (f.e. Wordpress, Webflow etc) are offering an HTML- or iframe element that allows you to easily use the Echo embed code. Alternatively, you can ask your technical staff to simply copy/paste the embed code into your HTML templates!

💡 Tip: Place the iframe inside a container with a max-width (e.g., 400px) for best results.

URL Parameter Overrides

You can override button settings via URL parameters without changing your campaign settings. This is useful when embedding on multiple sites with different branding. Here's an example:

https://echo.walls.io/campaigns/your-campaign/embed/?cta=Join%20Now&button_background=%236366f1&button_color=%23ffffff

Parameter

Description

Example

cta

Button label text

cta=Join%20Now

button_background

Button color (hex)

button_background=%236366f1

button_color

Text color (hex)

button_color=%23ffffff

💡 Tip: All URL parameters must be URL-encoded! You can use this tool to URL-encode your parameters easily.

Download as Image

For email newsletters or platforms that don't support iframes:

1. Configure your button in the dashboard

2. Click Download as PNG

3. Use the exported image in your email with a link to your campaign

Other Tips

  • Contrast matters: Use a bold button color that stands out from the host page

  • Keep it short: Button labels work best at 5-10 words

  • Responsive: The button automatically adapts to its container width

  • Thumbnail: Your campaign's sharing image appears on the button—make sure one is uploaded
