Importing Older Posts & Post Shuffle

Can I import older posts to my wall? Can I shuffle content to the top if activity is low?

When adding a new source we fetch some past posts, however, as of now, there's no option to create a historical archive.

Walls.io is designed to collect, moderate, and display fresh social media content as it is published. While we may fetch a small number of recent past posts when you add a new source, we do not support historical imports, and the amount of older content we can retrieve depends on each platform's API limitations.

While we do fetch a handful of past posts when you're adding a new source, the time frame we can look back depends on the particular platform's API & technical limitations. Therefore, we can't provide specifics on how many posts we'll import or how far back into the past we'll go when adding a new source.

How to keep your wall fresh with post shuffle

If your hashtag is experiencing a lull or regular phases of inactivity, try using the shuffle feature: this will move old posts to the top based on two settings:

  • Time between shuffles defines after how long a period of inactivity older posts will be shuffled to the front as well as the shuffle frequency.

  • Minimum post recency can be adjusted to define the freshness of content that should be shuffled.

💡 Tip: Even when post shuffle is enabled, brand-new content will still appear immediately at the top of your wall.

To enable it:

1. Open Setup > Behavior.

2. Set Time between shuffles.

3. Set Minimum post recency.
