A custom share image lets you control how your Walls.io social wall appears when someone shares its link on social media or in messaging apps. In this article, you'll learn how to upload your own sharing image and when Walls.io will automatically generate one for you.
Upload a custom share image
Go to Setup > Basics > Sharing
Drag & drop your image into the “Sharing image” section.
The best size for the sharing image is 1200×630 px.
Let us take care of your social wall's share image
If you do not upload a custom share image, Walls.io will automatically generate one for you using a screenshot of your social wall. This is a good default option if you want a quick setup, but we recommend uploading your own image if you want full control over branding and link previews. The automatic screenshot is updated regularly when you change your wall layout or design.
