Pinning Posts to the Top

Want to keep an important post visible at the top of your Walls.io social wall? The "Pin to Top" feature lets you highlight announcements, campaign content, sponsor posts, or other key updates so visitors always see them first.

Ever wanted to keep a certain piece of content on top of your wall, similar as you would do on your Facebook company page or Twitter profile? In this guide, we'll show you how to pin a post from Moderation > Moderate Posts and how to remove it again later.

How to pin a post from Moderation

  1. Open your Walls.io dashboard and select the wall to enter the settings.

  2. Go to Moderation > Moderate Posts.

  3. Find the post you want to pin.

  4. Click "Pin".

Pinned posts will always stay on top of your wall, and will be marked with a little "pin"-icon:

How to remove a pinned post

  1. In Moderation > Moderate Posts.

  2. Use the visibility filter to show only pinned posts.

  3. Find the post you want to update.

  4. Click "Unpin".

💡 Tip: Pinned posts work across all Walls.io themes, and you can pin more than one post when you want to keep several important updates visible at the top of your wall
