A responsive slider element for your website
The Walls.io Carousel layout helps you turn your social wall into a responsive website carousel that fits neatly into smaller areas of your site. It is a good choice when you want to highlight social proof, keep visitors engaged for longer, and improve dwell time with an interactive content slider.
To enable it, go to Setup > Design in your wall dashboard and select Carousel as your layout.
Customizing your Carousel
Like our other layouts, Carousel can be customized using our Style editor. This way, you can change the colors of post tiles, background images, colors of the header, etc.
You can also use custom CSS to further adapt your wall's look and feel.
Hiding Post Info and Header
In Setup > Design, you can choose whether to show post details like the username, timestamp, and social network.
💡 For Carousel, we recommend hiding the header in most website embeds so the slider stays compact and keeps the focus on the posts themselves.
Automatic Scrolling
In Setup > Behavior, turn on Automatic Scrolling to let the Carousel move through posts automatically whenever a visitor is inactive. This is especially useful for homepage embeds, landing pages, and other placements where viewers may not interact with the slider right away.
