How to add your Walls.io social media feed to Cvent events

Cvent helps transform the meetings & events industry through technology that delivers live engagement across in-person, virtual & hybrid events.

Our ongoing partnership with Cvent ensures the best compatibility of our products. You can add a Walls.io social wall to Cvent in three different ways, depending on where you want attendees to see it:

  • Use the Event Website embed if you want the wall on your public event site.

  • Use a Session page widget if you want the wall to appear inside a specific session in Attendee Hub.

  • Use an Attendee Hub link if you prefer to link attendees to the wall from a hub session page.

🔎 Please note: this guide uses the Walls.io iframe embed option for 2 out of the 3 setups.

Setting up your Walls.io social wall

1. Sign-up at Walls.io & set up your social wall

To get started, sign-up for a Walls.io trial. Setting up your social wall is fairly easy – connect your social media accounts and start adding sources – i.e., hashtags around your brand and products or your owned social media accounts. For further information, check out our tutorial or watch the video below!

2. Copy the iframe embed code from your Walls.io social wall

In your Walls.io account, go to "Embed & Display" and copy the iframe embed code as marked in the screenshot below (it's sufficient to click on the code to copy it to your clipboard):

For most use cases, we recommend sticking with our "Fluid" default layout – if you prefer another layout or want to pick a different color scheme or language, please have a look at the advanced settings before you copy the Iframe embed code:

Most options should be pretty self-explanatory, but we have more information available here.
