What is a Source?
In the world of Walls.io, a source is essentially what you choose to display on your social wall. Sources can be a variety of things:
Profiles: specific profiles from various social media platforms that you want to showcase.
Hashtags: These are particularly popular, acting as a funnel to bring specific themed content to your wall.
Keywords: Specific words or phrases relevant to your content.
Counting Sources
One item, one source: Each unique hashtag or social media profile you add is counted as one source.
Multiple use across walls: If you use the same source on multiple walls, each usage counts separately.
On your dashboard, you can always see the current number of used sources displayed on top:
Example
Imagine you're running a campaign with the X(Twitter) hashtag #EcoFriendly. You decide to display this X(Twitter) hashtag on four different walls – perhaps one for each region of your business. In this scenario, #EcoFriendly is not just one source. It's counted as four sources – one for each wall it appears on.
To sum it up, every source (be it a hashtag or a profile) is counted individually for each wall it's being used on. This straightforward approach ensures you have clarity and control over your content strategy and its execution.
