How to filter my wall's content for certain languages?

In many use-cases it's necessary to filter a wall's content for certain languages (f.e. if you have a multi-lingual or multi-national website and want to display only the matching content). Walls.io allows you to do that with the Language filter!

You can activate the filter in Moderation > Filters:

Choose any number of allowed languages and your wall will be automatically filtered accordingly.

Handle unrecognized languages

Sometimes, Walls.io can't automatically detect the language of a post (f.e. if a post contains hashtags only). In this case, we'll display posts even when you filter for certain languages. If you want to get rid of unrecognized posts, please deactivate the option "Allow posts in unrecognized languages".

Manually overriding the language filter

You can always check and override the language filter manually under Moderation > Posts:

You'll see which posts were hidden because of the language filter. You can either manually Show such posts, or you can click on Language to override our automatic language detection.

In case you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact the support team via chat or support@walls.io!
