How to select "Manual" moderation

To choose the manual moderation option in Walls.io, go to the Moderation > Settings and select "Manual".

If you set your wall to “Manual”, you will need to approve all the posts before they are published on your wall. That means you need to check back and approve every single post you want to be shown on your wall. In the case of extremely delicate events where you need to have absolute control over content this can make sense though.

Have someone moderate your wall in real-time

If you're using the wall during an event, we recommend having a dedicated person with a laptop or tablet constantly approving  incoming posts. The Walls.io backend automatically refreshes with new content, so there is no need to refresh your browser manually.

Use the user whitelist feature

To make manual social wall moderation easier, Walls.io has a whitelist feature. You can choose manual moderation for your wall, but at the same time make sure that posts by specific users or containing specific words will be approved automatically.

Enable the post looping feature

If you go for manual moderation and you don't have the time to approve new posts very frequently, your wall will end up looking static. Nothing to worry about! If you enable “post looping”, Walls.io periodically re-posts already approved content from your wall to the top.

To enable post looping, go to Settings > Behaviour.
