How to filter my wall's content for positive, negative or neutral sentiment?

In some use-cases, wall owners want to automatically hide content that has overly negative or even just neutral sentiment. Walls.io allows you to do that with the AI Sentiment Filter, that categorizes posts by their mood or sentiment:

  • Positive sentiment

  • Negative sentiment

  • Neutral sentiment

  • No recognized sentiment (f.e. if a post only contains a hashtag)

You can activate the filter in Moderation > Filters:

Choose which sentiment should be allowed to be displayed on your wall!

Handle unrecognized sentiment

Occasionally, Walls.io can't reliably detect the sentiment of a post (f.e. if a post consists of hashtags only). In this case, we'll display posts even when you filter for certain sentiment. If you want to get rid of posts with unrecognized sentiment, please deactivate the option “Allow posts without recognized sentiment".

Manually overriding the sentiment filter

You can always check and override the sentiment filter manually under Moderation > Posts:

You'll see which posts were hidden because of the sentiment filter – just click “Show” to override sentiment detection and display the post.

In case you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact the support team via chat or support@walls.io!
