Cookies & Tracking

Our frontend services (i.e. the social walls that are either embedded in your website, displayed on digital screens or simply opened in a web browser) do set no tracking cookies.


The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR was adopted on 14 April 2016 and became enforceable beginning 25 May 2018.

💡 Note: As an EU-based company, Walls.io is fully compliant with all GDPR regulations!

  • We are offering our enterprise customers to sign a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement (DPA) with us.

  • We are assisting our enterprise customers with security/vendor assessments they might require.

  • We are hosting our infrastructure with Amazon AWS, and we are exclusively hosting in their Frankfurt, Germany data center.

  • We are not using any sub-processors outside the EU and are therefore compliant with GDPR data export regulations.

  • We have vetted all our sub-processors thoroughly and signed data processing agreements with all of them.

  • We support all rights GDPR grants individuals in respect to the personal identifiable data we are processing (i.e. right to erasure...)

In the DACH region, users might refer to GDPR also as DSGVO which is the German abbreviation for Datenschutz-Grundverordnung.
