Walls.io is not just a social media aggregator – it also lets your visitors post directly to the your wall and includes a number of interactive features.
Not only do these features create live buzz and engagement, it also gives those who don't use social media the chance to interact with your wall.
Head over to the Content tab in your toolbar to access custom content.

Native Posts
Native Posts are designed specifically for you, the wall owner (and your team). Since this is a post you create and upload yourself, think of it as an additional way to promote your organization or services.
Go to Content > Native Posts and click Create Post.
In the dialog that opens, customize the post by doing the following:
1. Upload your photo or video to the post.
2. Add your profile picture if desired.
3. Add your user name.
4. If you would like to add your location and website link (labelled 5), do so here. These are both optional.
6. Write a caption for your post.
7. Publish the post now or schedule it for later.
⚠️ Please note: In order to publish a Native Post, you must set your time zone by going to your account management area (labelled 1) and selecting the time zone from the dropdown list (labelled 2).
Once you have created the post you can choose to:
A. Create another post.
B. Edit the existing post.
C. Delete the existing post.
Sponsored Posts
With Sponsored Posts, you can upload promotions from your event sponsors. Many customers include these posts in their sponsorship packages to add value and spark more interest in supporting the event.
You can upload as many different sponsored posts as you'd like.
Click the toggle button to enable sponsored posts.
A sponsored post is cycled through your wall after a set of X amount of random posts. You can adjust this frequency here.
Click Create Sponsored Post to open the editor.
In the dialog that opens:
1. Upload the sponsor's photo or video to the post.
2. Add a sponsor logo and user name.
3. If you would like to add your location and website link (labelled 4), do so here.
5. Write a caption for the post.
6. Click Create to save.
Once you have created the post you can choose to:
A. Create another post.
B. Edit the existing post.
C. Delete the existing post.
Direct Posts
One of our most popular features, Direct Posts allow your visitors to create multimedia posts directly on your social wall without having to post them on a social network first.
Visitors can easily engage with your wall by clicking or scanning the QR code that appears on your wall.
To get started, go to Content > Direct Posts.
Enable Direct Posts.
To make it easier for your visitors, include a QR code.
On your wall, your visitors can click or scan the QR code to open the creation dialog. In the dialog, your visitor can:
Upload their photo or video.
Write a caption to their post.
Click Next to expand the editor and submit.
In the expanded section before submitting, your visitor will be asked to enter their details and check the terms and conditions.

Photo Booth
Our virtual photo booth feature, Walls.io Lens, lets visitors capture photos and videos and upload them directly to the wall. The photo booth comes packed with various frames and stickers, but also gives you the opportunity to add even more branding to your wall by uploading custom designs.
To get started, go to Content > Photo Booth.
Enable Photo Booth.
To make it easier for your visitors, include a QR code.
You can enable the default stickers or upload your own custom assets.
From the wall, your user can click or scan the QR code and take/upload their photo. They have the option to take a static image or a Loop, which allows movement similar to a gif file.

Reactions
The Reactions feature allows your visitors to react to posts by liking them directly on your social wall. You can use Reactions to keep your audience engaged, measure the popularity of posts, or even for competitions.
Click the toggle button to enable reactions. However, please keep in mind that reactions are only available in the Fluid layout.
✅ Final check: Once you have enabled Reactions in the backend, you're visitors will be able to like posts from their personal devices.
Polls
Our Live Polls feature allows you to connect with your community and get their opinions and feedback. They can be used to vote in a contest, as a survey, to help break the ice in meetings, and more.
A poll can be easily set up by going to Content > Polls.
Click Create Poll to begin the setup. However, please keep in mind that polls are only available in the Fluid layout.
Add your question/prompt. Feel free to use emojis to make it more exciting.
In the subsequent fields, enter the options that people can select from when the poll is live. You can add up to 10 different answers.
Proceed to the next step.
⚠️ Please keep in mind that it is currently impossible to edit/add/remove answers once a poll is live. If you no longer want an option to show, the poll would have to be completely erased and re-created.
Upload an image that will display as the cover of your poll. You can skip this if you prefer, but then you must otherwise add a caption to the post (labelled 3).
Enter your user name and add a profile picture, if desired.
Add a post caption to describe the poll. If you don't want to add a caption, then you must instead upload an image (labelled 1).
Proceed to the next step.
In the new dialog, decide whether you would like to poll to go live immediately, or post it manually later. You can also pin the poll to the top of your wall, which is encouraged to gain more visibility and participation.
Once your poll is created, you can view the status from the backend.
If the poll is already live, you will be able to see the responses and number of votes. You can also use the bottom buttons to:
A. Hide/show the poll on your wall.
B. Edit the poll description. Please note: this does not refer to changing the poll prompt and answers – only to the cover image and post caption.
C. Delete the poll permanently.
D. Unpin the poll from the top of your wall.
E. Close the poll so that visitors can no longer participate. This still keeps the poll visible, but does not allow visitors to add their responses.
🔎 Please note: If you chose to start the poll manually in the creation process, you would also use this button (labelled E) to officially start the polling.
✅ Final check: Once live, your poll will look something like this. The response rate will be visible to both you and your visitors:
Leads
Walls.io is not just about curating posts, it also offers opportunities to generate and collect leads. Using the Direct Posts and Photo Booth features, you can collect the information of visitors who have uploaded their own posts to your social wall.
To access this feature, go to Content > Leads. The settings you adjust on the left will be displayed in the form when the visitor creates a post.
Once posts have been published to the wall, you can view the leads down below and also export the list to an Excel or CSV file.
