Log into the Yodeck Portal or create a free account if you don't have one.
Use the menu on the left to access the Widgets section and click on the +Add Widget.
Select the Walls.io icon and click Use in the pop-up window.
Fill out the Name, Description (optional), and add your custom wall URL.
Great news, you do not need to go back to your Walls.io account to edit the design of your social wall! Right at the Yodeck Portal, you can change the wall layout, enable auto-scroll and show header, and choose the default duration.
Now go to the Playlists section and click on +Add Playlist. Select the Classic option.
Fill in the Name and the Description (optional). Drag and drop the Walls.io widget icon from your account library below into the empty filmstrip.
Note: By default, Widgets have a duration of 20 seconds. To change that, use the "+" /"-" button and see the total duration on the filmstrip under the preview of the media file.
The cool thing is, you can also include any other content into your Playlist - videos, documents, web pages, even a second social wall!
Add Layout in the Layouts section. On a new page, click on Create Custom Layout.
In the right-hand menu, fill in the Name, choose the Ratio of your TV screen and add Background Audio (optional, but who doesn’t like some good tunes paired with their social wall?).
Press on the Insert+ button on the panel above. Select Widget on the updated menu on the right. Select the Walls.io widget and click on Insert.
Fit your social wall within the area assigned and click Save.
We are almost there! Go to the Schedules section and click on +Add Schedule.
Fill in the Name and click on the +Add Entry button.
In the drop-down window, choose a Layout option, set the start and end date and time of the entry, and select how often you want to stream your wall.
You can now see your social wall scheduled on the calendar!
Last steps! Add Monitor in the Monitor section. On a new page, fill in the Name and the Registration Code for your Player.
Now, if you want to schedule your social wall for a specific time frame, choose the Schedule in the Scheduled Content.
And if you want to display your social wall by default, choose Media, Playlist or Layout under the Default Content.
Save it and click on Push to Players in the upper left corner of the screen.
Et voilà! You now have your social wall streaming on your assigned player! If you need to add any changes, you can do it right here, inside the Yodeck Portal.
A preview of your social wall or playlist on Yodeck is not possible without a physical Yodeck Player or other Yodeck-supported-hardware, Raspberry Pi (in any version), with which you can create your own Yodeck Player.
