Understanding Your Echo Campaign Analytics

Track and measure the success of your Echo campaigns.

The Echo Analytics section gives you a complete picture of how your campaigns are performing.

You'll be able to assess:

  • How many shares the Echo post received

  • How many clicks were generated

  • The post virality

  • The campaign conversions

  • and more!

Filtering Your Data

Before diving into the numbers, set your scope:

1.Campaign filter: Click the dropdown to choose one or more campaigns using the corresponding checkboxes. Select All or None to quickly switch between a broad view and a focused one. All widgets on the page update instantly when your selection changes.

2. Date range: Pick a start and end date. The default is the last 30 days. The maximum range is 365 days; if you enter a wider range, the start date is automatically adjusted to stay within that limit.

Both filters apply simultaneously to every metric, chart, and table on the page.


Campaign Overview

The overview block sits at the top of the page and shows six key numbers for your selected campaigns and date range at a glance.

Metric

What it measures

Pageviews

The number of times your campaign page was visited. Duplicate visits within the same browser session are counted only once.

2.

Shares

How many times visitors clicked a share button and completed the share flow on any platform.

3.

Clicks

The total number of clicks received on shared links — i.e. how many people followed up on a share.

4.

Viral Boost

The ratio of clicks to shares (Clicks ÷ Shares). A Viral Boost of 5× means every share generated five clicks on average. This is the core indicator of how effectively your campaign is spreading.

Conversions

The number of times a click resulted in a tracked conversion action (e.g. a registration or purchase).

Trend Charts

Below the overview, four line charts show how each metric evolved over your selected date range. Each point on the line represents a single day; days with no activity are shown as zero so the line is always continuous.

Each of these reports can be exported to the following formats by clicking the corresponding "Download" button: CSV, XLSX, PNG, SVG.

Pageviews

This graph shows the daily count of page visits to the Echo campaign landing page. Here, landing page refers to where the user can click and share to their own social platforms:

Use this graph to spot traffic spikes — for example, after an email blast or a press mention where your Echo sharing link is embedded. You can also download this data by clicking the "Download" button.

Shares

This graph shows the count of completed shares (meaning users have posted the Echo sharing tile to their own social media) across all platforms. Compare this against the Pageviews chart to understand what share rate your traffic is generating. You can also download this data by clicking the "Download" button.

Clicks

This graph shows the daily count of inbound clicks on shared links. A rising Clicks line that lags behind the Shares line by a day or two is normal as people often share first and their audience clicks later.

Conversions

This graph shows the daily count of conversions that are tracked via the UTM parameters you've created for the campaign.

Correlate this with the Clicks chart to evaluate how well your landing page turns referred visitors into registrants. You can also download this data by clicking the "Download" button.


Distribution Charts

The following two pie charts break down the composition of your audience.

Each of these reports can be exported to the following formats by clicking the corresponding "Download" button: CSV, XLSX.

Device Breakdown

This shows what proportion of your campaign page visits came from desktop, mobile, tablet, or unknown devices. Use this to make sure your campaign page and sharing image look good on the devices your audience actually uses. You can also download this data by clicking the "Download" button.

Platform Breakdown

This chart shows which sharing platforms your participants made their posts to. Use this to understand where your campaign is gaining traction organically so that you can prioritize them in future campaigns. You can also download this data by clicking the "Download" button.


Recent Shares Table

The table lists every share recorded for your selected Echo campaigns and date range, with the most recent at the top. It is paginated in sets of 25 and can be searched and sorted by any column.

The sharer's name, role, and a link to the URL they shared to (if available).

Campaign

The campaign this share belongs to. Useful when you have multiple campaigns selected.

Date

The date and time the share was created.

5.

Platform

The social network or channel used, shown with its brand icon.

6.

Clicks

How many times this specific share link was clicked.

7.

Conversions

How many conversions were attributed to this specific share.

8. You can search by author name, email, role, or campaign title using the search bar above the table.

You can also download the data by clicking "Download." The report can be exported to CSV or XLSX and will contain all rows matching your current date filter.


Tips for Getting the Most Out of Analytics

  • Compare Echo campaigns side by side by selecting multiple campaigns at once and looking at the Platform Breakdown — you'll quickly see if different campaigns attract audiences on different networks.

  • Use the 7-day view after launching a campaign to monitor the initial viral spread in detail, then switch to 30 days for a broader trend view.

  • Watch the Viral Boost number closely. A boost above 3× is a good sign. If it's below 1×, your shares aren't generating return traffic. Consider improving your Echo sharing text or image.

  • Export to XLSX for reporting purposes and use Excel or Google Sheets pivot tables to slice data by platform or device beyond what the dashboard shows.
